Tasty Teriyaki

Serve this up as a marinade on salmon, beef, pork or chicken and watch your kids gobble it up.  After a successful serving using a store-bought marinade I decided to try making a homemade version and it turned out well.  Here's the recipe:

Tasty Teriyaki Marinade

INGREDIENTS
1/2 C. Soy Sauce
1/2 C. Vegetable or Canola oil
3-4 T. Honey
1-1/2 t. Sesame seeds
1 t. Minced garlic
1/2 t. Ginger
1/2 t. Dried onion
1/2 t. Onion powder
1 t. Sesame oil (Optional)

DIRECTIONS
Whisk until all ingredients are well blended.  Pour over meat or fish (using a plastic bag to hold meat and sauce works well).  Let stand, refrigerated, for 2-6 hours.  Grill (we used a cedar plank for added flavor and it prevents the flaky fish from falling into the grill).

Enjoy!
