Recently I had the opportunity to revisit a place from my childhood, my Great Uncle's office where he ran his architectural designing & consulting business. My Uncle passed away in the early 80's but his office has remain virtually untouched for decades (minus the removal of lots of paperwork and the occasional visit by the cleaning crew). Not only is it fun to stomp around a place I visited as a child and can now view through adult eyes (my things have shrunk!) but I love the retro/vintage look of many of the "artifacts" found in his old office, from the rotary phone to the rolodex to the Jetson-era style seating to the lighting, panelling and curtains, this place is an enjoyable blast from the past, a real architectural and knick-knack salvage shop owner's dream!
